Guest guest
Liz, Thank you for the info on your reaction to metho. Earlier today I was speaking with The American Diabetes Association and they also stated that most people have elevated blood sugars when taking pred. and metho. This does not, by any means, mean all people. But something to be considered. Esp. when the reaction some have such as fatigue, blurred vision, fatigue, itching skin, headaches and severe hunger. All can go with many different problems. But all also go with diabetes. Diabetes is one of the major illness assocated with RP. Whether it is induced by pred. or some of the medication, or just part of the course of this disease. R.
Guest guest
Dear , Thanks for sending this information about diabetes and pred. and metho. It's interesting to know. I have been checking my blood sugar levels occassionally to make sure they stay in the normal level. There have been a few times where they have been up to 140, but as a rule they stay in the 80's. Is it acceptable to have 140's once in a while, or is this something I need to mention to my doctor. Usually I check it in the morning and it's low. How are you doing? Hope things are well in Az. It's been cold here but warmed up today. Maybe if it stays nice our corn will finally start to grow. Usually it's knee high by the 4th of July, this year it might be ankle high by then. The only thing that is growing good are the potatoes. My lettuce never came up at all, even after planting twice. My husband said it's because I planted winter rye in the garden last fall. I doubt that's the reason, but it sure hasn't done very good. Love, Marilyn Liz, Thank you for the info on your reaction to metho. > > Earlier today I was speaking with The American Diabetes Association and they also stated that most people have elevated blood sugars when taking pred. and metho. > > This does not, by any means, mean all people.
