New Member--Surgery Tomorrow!

I haven't posted any messages on here yet, but it's been interesting

reading about everyone's experiences. I know I need to take it all

with a grain of salt because each person's experience is unique.

However, it still has helped give me an idea of what to expect. I'm

having surgery tomorrow (upper, lower and palatal split). I've worn

my braces now for a little over two years (not including the 5 years

as a teenager) and am ready to get going with the surgery and

healing process. I am going to have my husband take some

before/after photos so I can post them. I hope that I'll be able to

share my experience once I'm home from the hospital. Meanwhile, just

a quick thanks to everyone for sharing their own experiences. It's

been very helpful! :-)
