Hi

Just found this site. My daughter is having her surgery on May 26.

She also had surgery for thyroid cancer last year. Seven days into

her recovery, she must go on a low iodine diet for her one year

cancer scan. No dairy, soy, eggs and processed foods containg

sources of iodine. Boost, ensure and other drinks will be off limits

to her. She must do the low iodine diet for a month. She is a

college student so this is being crammed into her summer break. Any

suggestions on what to feed her? The nutritionist I consulted was

not much help. I feel like I am on my own. Any suggestions would be

great.

ine.asp

I typed in " low iodine diet " in Yahoo! Search and it listed a ton of

pages...

Good luck :)
