Guest guest
You eat Mc's burgers? Yech! In and Out or 's is the way to go! Just kidding - congratulations and enjoy your burger! If chewing and the jaw opening turn out to be tougher than anticipated, here's my recipe for what I had as my first solid food. Take a salmon fillet about 1 " thick and marinate in teriyaki sauce (I like Veri Veri Teri), broil in the toaster oven at 400F for about 6 minutes per side. Nuke a yellow sweet potato and mash with fresh grated pamegianno reggiano cheese, butter, salt, black pepper, and milk. Smash in the salmon too if necessary, and enjoy! That stuff was heaven for me and I lived on it for weeks after getting unwired. --Neil > I just got home from getting my splint off. Yay! Guest guest
Oh, my, your recipe would KILL me! Seafood gets me sooo sick ... I'm lactose intolerant ... and I think sweet taters are gross. But the teriyaki sauce sounds good. : ) Never heard of In and Out. 's is good, but there's something about McD's that just gets me salivating. It took me about an hour to eat two hamburgers and some fries tonight. I didn't realize what slow going it would be. I only ached a little afterward, and I didn't bite myself, so I can't complain. My poor Dad - he went in to have a root canal today, and after working on his tooth for an hour straight the dentist realized he couldn't save it after all, and pulled it. So Dad came home aching all over from being open so long and having so much done, and couldn't chew his supper. He said he thought of me eating mush for six weeks - he only had it for one meal, and he thought it was gross. My first day of freedom was his day of pain - and my niece had her first baby today, too. Families have to do things together, you know? May 4 may be one of those days to go down in family history. Another big one was the day I was born - my grandmother died a few hours later. Nobody forgets my birthday, because it was such a terrible day. My aunts still remind me of it. :/ I digress. Sorry.
