I don't think I have introduced myself yet, I tried and goofed and erased it, I

think!

Anyway, I had to respond to this wonderful post. Dawn! You made me cry. You

should write a book, you have a way with words.

My name is Tammy Lunda and I had WLS a year ago this month. I have lost 107 lbs

so far and am thrilled with the results. I wear a between a size 8 and 10

depending. 8 on top and 10 on bottom. My goal is a size 6 on bottom. I

started out at 258 and now weigh 151. Maybe less, I have not weighed in a

while. I started out wearing between a 22 and 24. I am still in shock when I

see a mirror, forgetting I am not the size I was before. Yes, I am upset a bit

with the skin issue, it isn't super bad, but bad enough. I have been denied

twice for my tt, and my insurance company usually pays for it. They say mine

is cosmetic. I am working on more documentation and will appeal again soon. If

I do get it I will have to do it in the summer, I am a high school teacher and

have the summers off. That will be fine, because I will be at goal by then. My

amos profile is not complete, I am hoping to have a recent picture added after

the Dr Fox party this weekend.

I have enjoyed reading all the post on this site. You are all dealing with the

same issues I am. It is very helpful. I know some of you (Hi Jacque and

!) and look forward to meeting many more of you on line or possibly at

Dr Fox's party, if you are from this area.

I want to know how I can go to Amos and see all of your before and after

pictures. I mean I would like to match up faces with email addresses. Is there

a way we can put that on our email?

So, Hello to all, that is my introduction. You don't have to welcome me......I

know we are all welcomed. (but I wouldn't get mad if you did! :))

OK I know I am verbose this morning, but I have elected myself

temporary for the minute and not a minute longer welcome wagon.

Welcome Tammy!

151 pounds and size 8 to 10!!! I thoroughly applaud you. And I

really really wish I said that from a totally selfless place, but I

must confess, I had a gut level cringe of envy when I read of your

progress. In fact, I am green as pea soup.

Well, you did it. I hope you post and help we who haven't made it

yet get where you are.

Smiles,

Vicki A.
