Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, As for the pond plants, of course you have to have water lilies. Also Lotus. I love to drip water on a leaf of a lotus. It sits there like a diamond. Beautiful flower too. I love Parrot's Feather for the surface covering, but fish tend to love it too. If your pond is small, try mini horsetail, it's tall and jointed, looks great in a pond. Water Iris' are nice too. Nice flower. Geez, I could go on and on girl, but I'd better stop or you won't be able to see your pond for all the plants. LOL I am doing something special for myself this weekend. Going to the flower show, so you know I'll be a happy camper. Have fun pond plant shopping and enjoy yourself too. W >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Take time to do something special for yourselves this weekend. a good book, music, flowers, etc. I plan to try and help work on the pond this weekend. Have to go find some nice pond plants. Any suggestions? Got the rock this AM. Love, Marilyn
Guest guest
Marilyn, You've got to get a lotus too. They are a little pricey, but a must!! Please take pics of your pond when it's all set up and send it to me. Have you got any fish yet? I bought mine at the pet store. Buy the feeder fish. They are cheap and do good in ponds. As long as your pond is at least 18 inches deep, they will be fine even in the winter. My pond freezes up, but the fish are fine come spring. Good luck and if I can help in anyway, just let me know. W >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Did go and get out some water lilies this AM, they are quite spendy. $17.00 a piece.

Guest guest
Dear Marilyn, Please don't be tired or fighting this stuff....I know I get so frustrated sometimes....As my emails can tell. Right now the body is swollen up like a whale, medications I think. Keep being bull headed...that's who you are. Keeps me going, being an absolute _itch sometimes. It just gets old after awhile. I wait for the good days and doctors appointments but the main thing is to push as hard as you can when you feel up to it. Keep a laugh in your heart....Love Ya....Sue
Guest guest
Hi Marilyn: When I was first diagnosed with RP they also Dx me with vasculitis with livedo reticularis ?sp I started taking Minocin ( antibiotic) and since then I have had a significant decrease in the livedo reticularis and vasculitis along with the fibro pain. Wonder if you might inquire about that if you are not on it. Just a thought. Guest guest
Marilyn Before you go on any drug, you should go on line and look up the drug and its side effects. then weigh the pros and cons and decide is it worth it. THat what i do. I know some of the side effects are scarey but most people do not have the biggest part of them. Its just people with weird stuff like we RPERS " that should really try to check. I know for a fact that my body does not process drugs like most people. I can get sick on a tylenol if i am not careful. Not sure why but i have always been that way. I don't get sick often but when i do its the weird stuff that happens to me. dawn --- Marilyn Kucera godave@...> wrote: > Hi Dawn, > > Gee, I don't feel so bad now. I react almost just the opposite as I'm suppose to. My dr. says it from the fibro. Won't let me process meds the same way other people do. >
Guest guest
I thought I was just weird. Years ago I had problems with panic attacks. Dr.s would prescribe anit-anxiety drugs, etc. I told them it seemed my body reacted just the opposite of what the drug was suppose to do. Luckily they went away. My daughters was the same. Cortisol sets the " fight or flight " into effect. Just a theory. Guess the next poll should be Who has had problems with anixety . Guest guest
Hi Folks, Lucy here, I am diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I think I have heard a lot of people in the group that have it. We tend to have most anything that passes us, don't we? Love and Prayers, Lucy Re: Marilyn > > Thats really interesting.
