Guest guest
Barb: Your right it does make it hard at times when they do , do these insults, mostly when your trying so hard to understand what they are feeling. I know it's hard when so much has changed in their life and ours. Nothing comes easy with this illness. It's along hard road for all. Hugs Vera ******************* Vera, First of all, we don't go on many trips any more---just to Mayo clinic. Chuck is hard headed and argues with me on every item. I know if I had been the one pushing the w/c, he would have been directing me down every wrong ramp and turn. You and I just have to take the bull (so to speak) by the horns and do what we think is best. As far as the insults, that is very unfortunate and I think part of the disease and frustration from having it. But how awful that must make you feel, when you're doing your best---beyond best. Maybe, just sit down with him and tell him you can't handle that insulting stuff anymore. That's what I do with Chuck on the occasions when he gets that way. Sometimes it works for a while.
