Guest guest Posted December 15, 2002 Report Share Posted December 15, 2002 I haven't responded because I'm on the list for a medial thigh lift, on 01/16/03, but I don't think it's going to happen because not only do I have pretty bad pernicious anemia, but I've been waffling all along on this one. My thighs are awful, seen in a bathing suit. They're not so great naked. In clothes, they're fine, though I think in some things I would go to a 3 from a 5. Worth $5k and a fair bit of pain? Really tough to say. I am glad that the anemia is forcing me to postpone this surgery. My thighs have been getting better on their own, and even I have to say that this thigh lift is purely cosmetic for me. I have a few inches of loose skin and a handful and a half lumpy, jiggly fat, mostly at the top of each leg. I think with a strong spandex boyleg bathing suit, I'd look pretty dang good even with my ucky thighs. We talked about thigh lifts pretty extensively a month or so ago on the ossg-plasticsurgery@... list. You might want to join that group and review that discussion. It seems there are many more folks on that list who have had thigh lifts than this one.
