Florida Skate 2001 raised $3000 for Shy-Drager Research

" The raffle was exciting for everyone. The winners were very happy and we

were able to raise close to $ 800.00 through ticket sales and $ 800.00

during the auction for next year’s participation in the “Florida Skate 2002”

inline skating event for our charity, the Shy Drager Research Fund at

Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. Additionally, each skater donated $

25.00 with his or her participation fee. Skating miles sponsorships were

sent directly to Vanderbilt University, and we estimate that we raised close

to $ 3,000.00 during this year’s event "
