The Farm Labor Organizing Committee (FLOC), AFL-CIO has been boycotting Mt.

Olive Pickle Company products in an effort to improve the conditions for

North Carolina farm workers, as they did in Ohio. Yet, the pickle company

refuses to recognize its role in the process for justice in the cucumber

fields of Eastern North Carolina. Baldemar Velasquez is the inspiring

founder and President of FLOC.
