Guest guest
Hi Anne: Yes! Fred has lost his appetite. I know that other's have also. When I talked to Dr. Ray's wife she told me she was worry about him, because his appetite wasn't good anymore. She also said that he wants to eat sweet, Fred is this same way. I was telling Barb Selleck about it at the chat and she said that the sugar thing can be because of acid relux. I know Fred does get that, so that could be the reason for wanting the sweets. I wonder also if the change in appetite can be from some of the meds that they are on. We bring home most of Fred's dinner if we go out to eat. We get ensure to help with what Fred isn't eating. Take Care Vera Subject: Appetite A silly question, but has anyone else LOST their appetite - or is this the result of something else and not possibly related to MSA? Guest guest
Vera it could also be because it is too hard to swallow solid food and they just give up. Guest guest
Bill is not hungry until after 2pm. Therefore, he has dinner about 9pm. At 11pm, he is looking for sweets- chocolates, ice cream, candy etc. He avoids bread because it makes him feel bloated. Bill was always a three meal person with nothin in-between. Now, he can eat five times a day-but gets very upset if he sees large portions on a plate. He says he just can't eat if there's a lot of food on the plate.
