Guest guest
Has anyone done this AND how did it come out? My husband LOVES BB rings and I thought it might be a nice Christmas surprise. We are all also spending New Years in Maui! The " facts are " I had both vertical and horizontal abdomnioplasty with the belly button replanted in a new position. This was done (last revision) September 29. Any thoughts or experiences good or bad about naval piercing post abdomnioplasty would be greatly appreciate . . .P.S. I would also like to do it before all the feeling comes back and its still numb now! ) Vicki (in CA)
Guest guest
Vicki, I can still feel the prominent sub-dermal sutures above, around, and below my re-located navel, just four months post-PS. My better judgment would caution me against introducing any foreign body into that mix of suture and flesh until the sutures were completely dissolved. But, that's just me erring on the side of caution. --Steve At 6:28 AM +0000 12/16/02, vicki_in_ca Haasevp@...> wrote: >Any >thoughts or experiences good or bad about naval piercing post >abdomnioplasty would be greatly appreciate

I don't know, it just seems like it may be a little too soon to mess with the new BB. How about doing it for Valentine's Day instead? in NJ
Guest guest
My girlfriend likes to buy the ones that " clip " on. She buys a couple extra for her nipples. She's a naughty little thing. > Has anyone done this AND how did it come out? My husband LOVES BB > rings and I thought it might be a nice Christmas surprise. Guest guest
OK, I called the piercing parlor and asked them about BB piercing after abdomnioplasty, or after a " relocated naval " as they referred to it. Their professional advise and policy is to wait until the scars were white and mature. Then it would be no problem. And they can pierce holding the pierce with bars Vs rings. So I will wait until I am a very mature white . . .maybe August, my DH's birthday??? ) Vicki
