They could have saved all of our taxpayer dollars on these studies if they had only asked us first! in NJ
Guest guest
I read in the paper today the FDA is going to revamp the food pyramid by 2005. They decided that it was too much carbs, gee imagine that. And the new one is to incorporate exercise. They said that there were more obese people since the pyramid was formes. I say go back to the four square. Vicki in IA VBG 6-97 364/212 RNY 6-29-01 295/185/160? Hernia Repair and panni 11/19/

Guest guest
Lori, How old are you anyway???? LOL. The four squares is what I was taught in elementary school. Meat/protein, Grains, Fruit/Veggies, and Dairy. If you had something from each of the 4 food groups you were balanced. No emphasis on one food group over another. Guest guest
Believe it or not, I am 42. I vaguely remember that school of thought but it has been sooooo long ago. I wish I was old enough to claim senility or young enough to claim ignorance but I am probably just having a dumb brunette day. Lori Owen - Denton, Texas CHF 4/14/01 479 lbs. SRVG 7/16/01 401 lbs.
