Guest guest
Hi everybody xoxoxo Just thought I'd let you all know about my visit with my ENT on Friday. He said there is not much to be done about the tinnitus, but it seems to have lightened up a little all on it's own. But I still have the pulsatile tinnitus (yes, it's another type of tinnitus ) which apparently is caused by the vascular system (I can hear the whoosh, whoosh of my heartbeat in the right ear only) sometimes I barely notice, but sometimes it really bothers me. He told me nothing can be done, other than tying off the vessel, which I really don't want to do and there is no guarantee that it will stop. The whooshing sound stops when I apply pressure to the neck below the ear or just behind the earlobe. Do you think this has anything to do with RP? just wondering. He said he will discuss this with another associate of his in order to find out if there are any other options, meantime he wants me to have a hearing test. Now on to more fun stuff.... yeah!! Just got back to work after 2 great weeks off. NO! going back to work wasn't the fun stuff LOL.... it was working in the garden this past few days... I literally dug about 18 holes to plant some perennials (hostas) and hydrangeas (sp?) among other things... the garden looks pretty decent... also gotten 2 trellis' for the climbing roses...pansies and impatiens.... My uncle usually does most of the gardening, but he's gone to Italy for 6 months so my sister and I are working in the garden. All that work and I'm sore all over, but feel great.. no flares, no allergies... so far! (knock on wood)... and now with all the talk about ponds, my imagination is running amok!!! LOL... anyway, thanks for being there for me love you all Carmela _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
