Eating normal without discomfort

Hey All,

I'm one week post-op from upper/lower/genio for an open bite.

I know every case is completely unique, but would a few people mind

answering for you specifically, how many weeks post-op until you could

eat a cookie, piece of pizza, etc without any pain or discomfort.

Since I'm tightly banded and will be for several weeks, I'm already

sick of being able to have just liquids, and I realize now how long of

a road this journey is.

How soon after being unwired/unbanded could you eat something solid

and not have to think about it?
