Guest guest
Okay guys... Here is just another of many questions I have. I have no idea how long I've been doing this. My wife says not long at all. She first noted it when we were at an amusement park earlier last month. This trip has afforded her the opportunity to watch me much more closely (as we're together literally all the time). She has noted that I fatigue very easily, and when I do, it will appear that all of the sudden I am gone - I've zoned out. She says I appear to be staring off very intently. Eyes are wide open. The only thing that clues her in that I'm not really there is that I don't blink - and that I don't respond to anything she says (see - I'm not a typical male - am I? Or she would not have noted this as anything " atypical " Anyway, I was just wondering if this was anything experienced by any others. This is just another new symptom for me. Oh yeah... My neck gets stiff something fierce and VERY easily nowadays as well. I guess it's similar to what someone must feel when they have whiplash, as I can't move my head without moving my body for quite a while after it sets in. Okay... I'll limit it to these two things, and try to check back in before leaving Chicago to see what others have said. Thanks again for all the support. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as I can in Denver. (I'll try to do better than I did at my family reunion - and make the whole conference - instead of only half - but... a person can only do what their body will allow them to
Guest guest
, Have you told us what medicines you are taking? Many MSA patients take muscle relaxers or anti-spasm meds for the muscle spasms you seem to be experiencing. Talk to your doctor about any new symptoms. Remember that you must treat the symptoms, not the disease. Have you registered for the conference? If no one registers by this weekend or only a small number, they will have to call off the conference.
