Guest guest
Ann: I'm glad that you wrote about Al. I remember you saying once that Al still wasn't in a w/c and seem to be progressing very slow. I think this may also be from the type of MSA each person has. It sound's like Al's is the SDS type and the one that Fred's neurologist tells us the person doesn't get anymore then the symptom of PD. The other two types of MSA seem to progress faster. Hugs Vera lou, My husband Al was dx with Parkinson's in fall of 95, then two months later dx with Shy-Drager Syndrome. He still does a few little things, he is not in the w/c yet. Has trouble with vision, has the last cataract removed and had a pair of reading glasses (instead of bifocals) and seem to be able to read again. He will be 80 in Sept. and I feel that he is progressing slowly. So does the neuro. Ann from Soddy,TN
