Guest guest
I know you are really trying to get back on track. I have to comment on your list of foods eaten. Where is the real food???? how about starting out your day with a protein shake or eggs/bacon? Salad, veggies, fruit etc. I know the jump start given by another member is basically all protein. Guest guest
how about starting out your day with a protein shake or eggs/bacon? __________________________________________________ I try the eggs and bacon, or sausage and do it a coupla times a week... Yesterday was not a typical day for me, it was an off day, which are my worst.. I eat good meals while working, very busy on off day's and just munch.. I can't eat three meals a day, if I do I lose weight... I try protein shakes, however, I have to have sugar and lot's of food afterward because the protein shake bottoms my blood sugar out, I mean in the 30's and quickly, it's no feeling like it's gonna go down, It just hits the floor and I have to start putting some food in me to bet the level back up. Thanks for your thoughts. Randy rlogle@... www.geocities.com/rogle32/ AIM: rlogleeln Open RNY: Sept. 26, 2001: 204 lbs gone. Daddy to Doogun, Jasper, and Zoe. Guest guest
Randy, your body DOES need carbohydrates. The trick is to find the RIGHT carbohydrates. Complex (whole grains, legumes, veggies), high in fiber. Your body uses them for energy. Avoid simple carbs...sugar. I know some here will disagree with me, but we'll agree to disagree. I have more than 20 years of " proof " behind me. But CUT OUT ALL THAT CANCER CAUSING ATIFICIAL SWEETENER! LOL. BTW, everyone keep in mind that SF doesn't mean fat free, and FF doesn't mean sugar free...and if they are both, they are not good for a lab rat, and certainly not YOU!
