Hello everyone,

Just had to thank everyone for all the help i have been

recieving.. This site is a great source of help.. I must say I mostly

read the posts.. Occasionaly i will post. I have noticed a few people

doing the jump start thing... I think i will look into that.. I

always write what i eat down even the stuff i shouldn't be eating.. I

don't write down the times that i eat though.. This is what i had

yesterday.. See what you think...By the way.. I had not lost any

weight in the past 7 months... Until i buckled down .. this is pretty

much a good day for me

Breakfast :

..1 s/f diet hot cocoa

3 Healthy choice sausages (70 ) cal.

1/2 c. egg sub. scrambled

Lunch:

3 oz. grilled turkey patty (no bun)

1/2 c. green beans

1 oz. cheese

1 tbsp. peanut butter

Dinner :

Homemade taco salad

4 oz taco meat (turkey)

1 oz. fat free cheese

aprx 2 c. lettuce

2tbsp. fat free sour cream

1/2c. pinto beans

Did good so far.. p.m. is the hard time for me

Snack :

3 oz. turkey meat

1 pilsbury carmel danish

1 tbsp. peanut butter

That's what i ate yesterday.. No weight loss for the past 7

months . started to eat better and lost 9.5 in one week... I am 18

months post op now. I thought my window of opportunity had passed but

i guess not.. Thanks Sharon S. P.S. sorry for the lenght

Sharon, that looked great. Except, of course, that little nighttime

digression, but hey, we're only human, right?

I'm telling you, that window of opportunity stuff is crap. It's just

that time that the weight usually just melts off, but many doctors

make it sound like it's a now or never proposition. That's just not

true! What they should be telling us is that after that 18-24

months, you'll have to work at it like " normal " people. But, because

we will never really be normal, having a disease that's just in

remission, we can gain more easily than true normies. That's just

the nature of a disease, and we have to understand it and deal with

it as best we can.

Good luck,

in NJ

Sharon,

Looks good to me. The only thing I might suggest is the pm

snack...put the peanut butter on whole grain toast and put a few

drops of caramel ice cream topping on it for the same effect, fewer

calories and more fiber. But heck, it's impossible to be stringent

forever and all in all, your eating looks reasonable, even darn good

to me.

Where's the exercise?

Keep it up.

Smiles,

Vicki A.

You could put the peanut butter on slices of granny smith apple - great fiber

and healthy carbs!

Bobbie, don't use the link, just go to message # 31212. That should work

fine.
