Fred was on Flomax for over a year, but later the doctor took him off and his now on a in & out cathater. This seems to be better for us. Take Care Vera Dear Vera and Jim Parsons, Thank you so much for your kind answers concerning the drug desmopressin. Apparently not many MSA patient take the drug, I myself am still beeing "tested" to find out if it has the effect, we were looking for, an of course to find out what unwanted side-effects it may have. You don't have to take it as a nasal spray any more, but can now take a pill. But I am pleased that I now can bring back the information to my neurologist, that not many people in our group take the drug regularly.
