Guest guest
When I had my surgery, long, long, ago…My doctor gave me a letter to restaurants asking that I be served from the children’s or seniors menu. I used it. Often. Saves a lot of argument from waitresses. If you didn’t get one from your surgeon, ask for one. The letter wore out a long time ago. Now, I just argue until they give up! Guest guest
My next store neighbor (also a WLS) had her daughter make us a couple of real professional looking business cards: The explain that we had a procedure called RNY Gastric Bypass and that we cannot physically manage an adult meal..........and that we should be permitted to order from the childrens.........they are probably illegal as all heck (they have the hospitals seal on them)......but real neat looking. Personally I never use it cause I like bringing leftovers home for the next day~~ P. One more note When I had my surgery, long, long, ago.My doctor gave me a letter to restaurants asking that I be served from the children's or seniors menu. I used it. Often. Guest guest
<> He was " old " when he did my surgery 20 years ago...and retired a few years later. I'm sure my PCP would give me one, I just always forget to ask.
