Guest guest
Jerry, I don't know the answer about the ALS exception, but I do know that this is a recent happening. I think the ALS group has recently gotten more focused and essentially lobbied congress and got this done. The 24 month waiting period has always baffled me -- if you can't work because you're too sick, how are you supposed to pay for medical care? I don't get it! This is one of those " squeaky wheel gets the grease " things, and I personally think we need to make some more noise. Anybody up for some lobbying activity? Moeller, isn't this up your alley? I think if we put some effort into this we could get it done. Carol & Rob (who thinks Carol is at it again!)
