Guest guest Posted December 17, 2002 Report Share Posted December 17, 2002 I need some advice. This is the second time since my revision surgery that I have developed a tender superficial blood clot. THe first time, my dr gave me ibuprofen...butrend out my somtach...made the clot go away. This time I am reluctant to take anything...I am waiting for the dr to call me back...so do I walk? Do I walk a little? DO I lie on the couch with my feet elevated? That is what the ER doctor said--lie on the couch with your feet elevated...and get up every once in a while, but don't try to walk like a block.....
