Guest guest
hi sharon well i am happy today. Today was my last day of work till July 2, yeaaaaaaaaaaa. I am off to the moutains for a while. will be in and out to check things at the house. We have a place that is permanently set up. A camper with a screened 27 x 12 foot porch under roof. Quiet and peaceful, no phone, . The job i have i am answering questions and the phone all day and constantly around people so i really do relish the quiet time alone. Give me time to regroup. I have gotten rid of several DR's Too before i got the ones i have now. I really do like my PCP and he's willing to work with me. I kind of like my Rheumy, still not totaly sure on him, but trying to hang on till i find someone better, He is really nice but sometimes i am not sure he totally believes me when i try to explain to him how i feel. But eventually i guess it will work out. I have only seen my ENT one time so still not sure of him. Its unbelieveable how many Drs. it takes to control this crazy disease isn't it. My PCP told me , It will probably take a team of specialist to keep you going and feeling good and now i am starting to believe him. So far I have 4 Drs. Oh well you hang in there, and keep on counting your blessings. Be thankful for all that you have including Drs. , Family, and Life in general, I try to find something every to be thankful for. I find it really does help the attitdue. And gets rid of the oh wow is me thoughts. I like Life and I intend to Live live to the fullest, RP or No RP. dawn --- Sharon King sisterslk@...> wrote: > > --- Dawn dmorgan26347@...> wrote: > > SHARON > > That is absolutely great, you do have a right to > be > > so > > happy, i hope all goes well for you. keep us > > posted. > > again congrats. dawn > > > Hi Dawn, > > How are you doing today? I hope you have the most wonderfully relaxing vacation of your life. I can hardly wait for ours. Your place with that huge porch sounds great! Can I come with you? HA! We are going to the coast for 5 days next month. I rented us a house right on the beach. We all love the coast and it is the one spot where I am always the most relaxed. We will also do a couple of day trips. I'm excited, but I'm packing the Ultram!! Believe me, I know what it is like when you feel that your doctor is just not quite believing what you say. My doc that I had before the one I have now was that way. Unless your blood work was way off, she just did not believe you could have anything! I went to a woman doctor thinking they wouldn't be like that, but at least she sure was. She treated me for 3 years for chronic eye " infections " . I now believe that it was RP related. Anyway, in all that time she refused to send me to a specialist until I just screamed that I would not see her about this anymore. Since I have been under the ophtalmologists care, my eyes have been so much better. I use 10 drops per eye, per day, but at least he helped me! That is just one of many stories of stuff she put me through! And, I took it. I don't anymore! You said you have 4 doc's. A PCP, a rheumy, an ENT, who is the fourth? I have three....never seen an ENT. Knock on wood! Thanks for the encouraging words! I do try and focus on all the positives in my life, and there are many. I think our attitudes are so important. Dawn, have a blast on your vacation, and remember to take good care of yourself! Love, Sharon ===== __________________________________________________
