Guest guest
For those of you with TMJ, do the elastics for your braces aggravate for your TMJ?
Guest guest
The elastics actually helped the pain bc it stabilized the bite for me... without the elastics, my jaws don't like to stay closed. > For those of you with TMJ, do the elastics for your braces aggravate > for your TMJ? Guest guest
The elastics make my pain better too. I have to wear mine in a class II configuration meaning they pull my lower jaw forward to reduce stress on the joints. > > For those of you with TMJ, do the elastics for your braces > aggravate > > for your TMJ? Guest guest
I did not have a lot of post-op pain. When I did start to have some, my surgeon whizzed two heavy elastics up front, and they stopped it within 15 minutes. Hooray for Little Debbies, which is what they were...
