Guest guest
Connie, I talked to this " professional " just a few minutes ago. mycoplasma's, although some types are the causes of TB and such, don't exist. So I have an appointment with their ped. doctor. Next week. If she won't do it I'll pay for it myself. I have also filed a formal complaint to the insurence company about this " authority " figure. Yup I'm pizzed. R. Score one for the Mom!! and a big zero for the doctor....but...now that you have his attention, maybe he would agree to order the PCR mycoplasma tests through one of Nicolson's labs?? For, if this disease surely can't be genetic (his words) then it must be contagious, right????
Guest guest
Maybe he was sleeping through med school when they studied immunology and infectious diseases.....maybe he should pay a visit to the mycoplasma department of the National Jewish Medical and Research Hospistal....or the NIH.....maybe he should actually READ some of the articles published by Garth Nicolson and others documenting the presence of mycoplasma in rheumatic disease....Oh, , I'm pizzed with you! Good luck in your search for an answer. I hope the kids pediatrician is more willing to look for a possible connection. There are docs out there who are willing...sometimes hard to find, though :-( Take care of yourself, too, Connie > Connie, I talked to this " professional " just a few minutes ago. mycoplasma's, although some types are the causes of TB and such, don't exist.
