Aida,

This vest would not work well in areas of high humidity as it works on

evaporation cooling. That means it would not work as well in New York or

Washington, DC (they are very humid) as it would in Las Vegas where it is much

less humid. It is better to cool the head as most body heat is lost through the

head anyway. If the headbands don't work well enough, I don't think the vest

would help a lot more.

The price is high also. I would spend the money on turning my air conditioner

down and running it more. In hot weather, it is best to keep the patient

indoors where it is cooled by AC. I always went out and started the car and

turned on the AC before getting Charlotte in the car on hot days.

We kept our house temperature at 73° F during the summer. And about 70° F

during the winter. But that is just my opinion. They may work well in Las

Vegas.
