Guest guest
Pam, Several people over the years (both male and female) have had this type of accusation and confided it in me. I think it is related to MSA and is relatively common at some time during the course of progression for both sexes. I'm not a shrink, but I feel it is probably a combination of meds, the loss of control and possiblely even some guilt at taking too much of the freedom of the caregiver. Caregivers should try to ignore it or reassure the patient that they still love them. Another common thing is for the patient to ask the caregiver why they don't just give up on them and get a boyfriend/girlfriend. Antidepressants may help, talk to the doctor. Guest guest
This happened with my mother Joyce (71, died 11/5/00) when she was in the hospital for broken shoulder and ribs and was put on some pain killers. Debbie
