Guest guest
Marilyn, I firmly believe that RP is genetic. Or at least has the tendencies of running in families. Your Mom could very eaily have had Rp and it was not dx. As for doctors knowing much about RP very few do. It is about three paragraphs in the medical school texts and what is published in their medical journals. I haven't looked by are you part of the study that I am running? If not lets getting included. R My mom had something called chrondo----, she lived in MT where there weren't many doctors that knew anything about it, (this has been 15 years ago), and now I am wondering if her disease could have predisposed me to RP. Guest guest
My closest relative who has any autoimmune disease is an aunt who has skin lupus. Otherwise as far as I know that's it. Sue
