Guest guest
Rita, I had this many years back. Had to pull my med records to remember the details. Mine was directly related to the inflammation of the cranial nerve 7 more commonly called the facial nerve. This specific nerve is highly involved with RP ( as can cause Bell's Palsy). My med records showed that it was treated with 60 mgs of pred for about 10 day and 500 mgs 4 times a day with keflex. The second thing that could be going on is cellutis. This is an inflammation of the upper layers of skin. It is also treated with keflex. In any case you really should have a doctor look at this ASAP. R. One - I had four knots on my head and then severe burning around the hairline which peeled afterwards. Two - one two occasions I have had whelps go from the hairline at the front of my ears (both at the same time) continuing down to my jaw area. These are approximately 1/2 " wide and 1/2 " high. Has anyone else experienced this. On all of these occasions I experienced severe headaches.
