Post-op Plate and Screw Removal

It has been a year and a half since my surgery. Results are

excellent, I couldnt have asked for it to go any better.

However, the plates and screws on the right side of my face have been

effecting my sinuses pretty badly to the point I get re-occuring

infections and cant breath out of my right nostril.

I'm going to have day surgery tomorrow to have the plate and screw

removed.

Has anyone ever gone through this? What is the pain level? How long

does the procedure take? And finally are you swollen and bruised

afterwards, and if so for how long? I have a very important job

interview this coming Wednesday so I hope for the swelling to have

gone down in 4-5 days. Is this possible?

I need some re-assurance and some info from peopel who have had this

done. Thanks for your time guys.
