Guest guest
Hi Audrey, I am so sorry that it took me so long to read this. I just haven't been on the computer much lately. I have been sharing the computer with my kids while school is out. I think we are down to 4 weeks or less and then they are back in school. I think I am ready again for the break. My last 3 will all be in high school this year. 9th, 10th, and 11th. My oldest is 23 and married. She had 2 sons so now I have 2 grandsons. They got married the end of May so I am new at being a grandmother and mother-in-law. They seem to love me as I love them so I guess I am doing something right. hehe I am not sure where Rockmart is but I have a map and I will find it. I moved to Georgia 19 years ago when I worked for Southern Bell (now Bell South). I moved here because there was suppose to be more room for advancement in Atlanta. I was a divorced mother of 1 at the time and needed to make as much money as possible to support my child and me. I love Georgia also and I married a Georgia boy. I won't be going anywhere because this is home to me now. I quit working for Bell South when I got pregnant with my 4th child. Staying up all day and night and working wasn't helping my health any. I found out soon though that mothers who stayed home and took care of their children lost breaks and lunch hours. Wow, I thought I would have so much time when I stayed home. LOL NOT! I worked harder then. Oh, well I don't know why I have started in with my life story this morning. I have read so many posts from people who have MSA or a similar disease and all of them, like me, have always been very active. I like the others never sat down, was always going. I was always going even as a child that drove everyone crazy with my energy which didn't stop even into adulthood. I wonder sometimes if maybe if we hadn't been going so much and rested ever so often if this doesn't apply somehow to getting one of these diseases. NOT TO SAY EVERYONE WHO IS OVERACTIVE WILL GET IT but for the ones who have if maybe it was is a chemical imbalance in our brain that lead to this. I have 2 children and I wonder about the other 2 at times as having it at a lower level that have Attention deficit disorder. My oldest son has Tourettes and it is at a lower level so you can barely tell he has it unless the stress is bad on him. He doesn't do the talking out loud part. All of these things are chemical imbalances in the brain. Sorry, for this. I guess since I can't get my body to go like I want to my brain is going a hundred miles/hour. LOL I just think it is something to think about. I haven't read anything to say this could be so I don't know. If Pam is reading this maybe she would know. Well, again Audrey I didn't mean to get off on all of this. I would love to meet you. I don't drive and have to rely on others to take me places. Everyone is so active with work and kids that it isn't always easy to get a ride. I have found though where there is a will there is a way. I missed chat also but maybe I will make it Wednesday night or next Sunday. I will try. You can email me privately also and anyone else who would like to I love hearing from any of you. My email address is Belindastime@... Lots of love and gentle hugs! God bless, Belinda > > > > > Hi everyone.
