Hi Everyone!

I have missed talking to you and hearing what has been going on. What a

month this has been. My daughter was in a cheerleading competition out-of town

the first weekend in Dec (placed 2nd), followed by my having myopic cataract

surgery with lens replacement on the 9th (and banning from the computer for 8

days), followed by hosting a Holiday party for my husband's work for 40 people

on the 17th, then his birthday on the 18th, then leaving town today for what was

supposed to be a week, but has been changed to 2 weeks because my Dad gave me a

ticket to the Orange Bowl. Go Iowa. All this in addition to my children's many

activities and numerous unscheduled trips to the dr for follow-ups as I keep

trying to push what I am allowed to do ( you know, drs make the worst

patients.... in this case it has been true)

For my sanity, I have gone no mail until I return on 1/5/03. I will check my

mail from my folks house so any issues that you would like my input on, please

feel free to send my way.

My wish for all of you, my friends, is to find a Reason for this Season, a

Calm amidst the hustle and hurry, and a joyous, peace-filled New Year. Thank you

for your advice, humor, support and most importantly, just being there, for me
