Guest guest
Hi everyone.... I have a little problem and sometimes it's not so little. For about a month now every once in awhile i get this pain right below my sterinum and it radiates around and into my back. One time it happened when i took a certain medication and once when i drank a little glass of wine and now it happens even on an empty stomach before i get up in the morning. It kind of reminds me of when i'd get a gullbladder attack but it can't be that because i've had it taken out. I mean this is really painful. I roll around on the bed and moan and groan and it leaves as quickly as it comes. Anyone out there have this kind of problem. I am 13 months out of surgery. Guest guest
I had this problem severely for awhile. Now, it's just occasional. It is usually caused by gastric reflux, but can be an early symptom of a hiatal hernia, where your esophagus connects with your stomach. If antacids don't help, go see your doctor! Guest guest
I have heard that you can still get bile stones in the duct even after the gall bladder is removed and it will feel the same exact way the old gall bladder attacks did. You would have to ack a doctor what the actual medical term for this is as I don't remember. When I first read what you went through, I thought of last night and a stuck vitamin in my stoma. It hurt so bad for about an hour. It also sounds like others have described ulcers post op??? Run don't walk to the dr. for professional testing and diagnosis! ) Vicki > Hi everyone.... > I have a little problem and sometimes it's not so little. > For about a month now every once in awhile i get this pain right > below my sterinum and it radiates around and into my back.
