Henry Jr., 71

ZANESVILLE -- Henry Jr., 71, of 700 Downard Road, Zanesville, died at home Wednesday, July 3, 2002, from complications of multiple system atrophy (Shy Drager syndrome). He was born Dec. 24, 1930, in Muskingum County, son of the late H. and Mildred O. (Showers) . He was a mouldmaker for 36 years and retired from Anchor Glass Container in 1993. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Roseville Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio, Lodge 566. He graduated from Roseville High School in 1948. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Kathleen (Kathy) (Widiker) ; two sons, Dr. (Beth) of Indianapolis and (Rosemary) of Farmingdale, New Jersey; two daughters, Ina () Pochiro of Boardman, and Rose () Chable of Centerville; eight grandchildren, Kai , Brittany, and , Dominic and ph Pochiro, and Chable. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ina Dozer and Bell-Pletcher. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the -Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Lingsch officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Falls Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 128 South Seventh Street, Zanesville, Ohio or Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 712 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio, 43701, or the Vanderbilt-Shy-Drager, Research Fund, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, AA-3228 Medical Center North, Nashville, TN, 37232-2195.
