Hey ,

I had the same problem as you.. I don't know if it was a coincidence but when

I felt that lump at the back of my tongue/throat, it was right after I had

drank hot chicken soup broth.. first hot thing I had since surgery. The lump

made me keep swallowing because I wanted to get rid of whatever it was, but

this in turn made my throat feel raw from swallowing so much. It went away in

a couple days, but I got basically no sleep during that period because the

lump kept me awake all night.

The only thing I did was drink more (since I didn't notice it as much while I

was drinking something).. and I tried not to swallow as much in the mean

time... it sucks but I just tried to ignore it.
