Back problems anyone?

I have what seems to be chronic back problems. I gave up sleeping in

a bed long ago. Started because of breathing problems with

bronchitis. I tried to go back to it, but when I do - I hurt - bad.

I've tried couches, and recliners, and doesn't seem to matter much

where I sleep now - Lately, if I fall asleep on a recliner (or as a

passenger in a vehicle) I wake up shortly with a neck so stiff that

it takes an hour to loosen up, and does it ever hurt. Back will hurt

too, but nothing like it does when I lay down. I'll lay down, and

within an hour, I can't get up without help!

I figured I'd try a Wal-Mart canvas style cheapy ($15) recliner,

camping style. Figured I had nothing to lose - and guess what? I

actually sleep well on it - or at least I don't hurt when I awaken.

Or not as much anyway. My feet hang over the edge a bit - which

causes problems with my neuropathy, and if my arms end up anywhere

but on my belly - they have major problems too - but it's the best

rest I get.

Now, I have been blessed - or so it seems... I was going to put this

on another post, but decided to put it on a new one... Here is my

news from today:

HEY! GOT A BIG BLESSING TODAY... OR AT LEAST IT PROMISES TO BE

ONE... GOT A FREE HOSPITAL BED. FRIEND'S DAUGHTER HAD RECEIVED A

NEW ONE, SO I'M GETTING HER " OLD " ONE. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO SLEEP

IN A BED FOR ALMOST A YEAR (actually, more than that) - BUT FROM WHAT

I REMEMBER I WAS ABLE TO REST COMFORTABLY IN THE HOSPITAL BED IN

TULSA.

Well, thanks for any input.
