Guest guest
" Some days my mind is like a bad neighborhood. Every time I go in, I get mugged. " I don't blame others for blurting out things and sticking their foot in mouth. I do it to myself all of the time. I was so proud of riding that horse up the mountain in Mexico. The whole time I rode tall and strong. I got the photo of me on the horse back and they very first thing that slammed me in the face was the roll on my abdomen. I looked really fat! Then I noticed my hair and everything else looked like crud. It really was a bad picture of me. The horse looked great. But I can't let that reaction taint my memory of the experience. After all, that was ME up there on that horse BELOW the weight limit and happy as a clam, rolls and all. But in the interest of good will toward men I don't think anyone means anything bad by it or to harm anyone by it. > We can take it, we're tough and have been dealing with this our whole > life, we should be able to deal with a few awkward compliments.
