Guest guest
First of all, thanks you to all of you that responded to my post. Just hearing that you thought I made the right move by sending a letter made me feel a bit better. My ortho called me today at noon after reading my letter and told me to come in. I saw my ortho at 5:30 today. She agreed that my bite had definitely changed (not for the better). I explained to her my concerns again. I am back in a box shaped rubber band that goes around my four upper & 4 lower incisors (right in the front of my mouth. She is also trying to jutt out my upper canines (eye teeth) a bit because I seem to be hitting on them. I see her again on June 2. I guess she now realizes that my case is important to me. I am going to give her a chance to work this out and try to " fix " me. She is supposed to be very good & my ortho works with her on cases often. I also will see my OS soon, he is on vacation but I will try to make an appt. for when he returns in 2 weeks. I am trying to stay positive & hope for the best outcome. I do feel that now my ortho will pay better attention to my case. I told her I contacted my surgeons office today. Hopefully while I am on vacation my front will close up as much as possible. I really want to enjoy myself and not worry about my jaws, mouth, teeth ect. I am going to the British Virgin Islands for 4 days (I leave Friday). Have any of you been there?
