Guest guest
Just wanted to Thank all of you who gave me tips for traveling with an MSA patient. After loading in all the extra blankets, pillows, notebook with MSA info & med, bp information we headed out of town. From Arizona to New Jersey, stopping five nights, arriving in NJ on the sixth. It was a great trip, listening to books on tape, Jerry watching movies in the back seat all propped up and perfect weather from state to state. It was also great knowing that in every state we stopped there was a member of this group close by that, if needed, I could contact for local information. We did take your advice and travel with a second driver so I did not get too tired. Most of the hotel rooms were great.....a few really stretched themselves when calling a room handicap accessible. We are safely in New Jersey now for six nights and then Monday we leave for North Carolina, hoping to see Deborah and Setzer while there. After that we are off to the Beach in NC for two weeks. Then we will be heading home knowing my " group angels " will be nearby if I need them. You can't imagine how comforting it is knowing that everywhere you stop there is someone out there who could help you in a time of need. So thanks, all of you, for just being " near by " during our travels. Jerry is having a great time seeing all the family and I am glad we did this trip. Hugs, Jan
