Guest guest
Hi Kirsten- I am 3 1/2 weeks post op from lower only and I have the same feeling in my lower right lip and chin. My surgeon said it was the nerves working themselves out. I still don't have feeling in my lower right lip and chin...so he said it was a positive sign that I will get feeling back. He said it could take 3 to 6 months. - kirsten o0turtle160o@...> wrote: hi all im about a month and a half post op from lower advancement and i just have one question.. i remember reading a post on this board pre op that said someone thought their nerves were turned inside out or something because when they drank or ate anything cold they could feel it on the outside i dont no if im making any sence but this is happening to me it feels like its dripping down my chin but its not. could this be a sign of the feeling returning in my chin? has this happened to anyone else? thanks kirsten
Guest guest
I had a SARPE surgery in July 2003, almost 11 months ago. I still am numb on the left side of my face and still have a phantom nose dripping sensation on the left when I encounter cold weather or wind on my face, and when I eat or drink cold things I can feel cold on my face. > hi all > im about a month and a half post op from lower advancement and i just > have one question.. i remember reading a post on this board pre op > that said someone thought their nerves were turned inside out or > something because when they drank or ate anything cold they could > feel it on the outside i dont no if im making any sence but this is > happening to me it feels like its dripping down my chin but its not. > could this be a sign of the feeling returning in my chin? has this > happened to anyone else? > thanks > kirsten
