Guest guest
Hi All. Another question. Don't worry, I'll ask my internist before I cease the monitoring, but... I'm wondering whether it is worth it to test my glucose levels. I started doing so after my internist recommended a glucose monitoring kit based upon a suggestion in a sister forum. Sure enough, a day or two after starting the monitoring, I had a super low reading. Problem is, it's happened again sporadically, but never seem to be able to tell by how I feel. Also, the silly thing doesn't go up when I ingest sugar. In fact, I even saw it go down a couple of points once (I'm sure statistically insignificant - but odd nonetheless). Anyway, I figure it's just more of how the autonomic system is messed up inside me - and effecting blood sugar as well as blood pressure. Must admit though, monitoring seems useless, as it doesn't seem to correlate at all with how I'm feeling - or food ingested (or lack thereof), nor does it change in a predictable manner with food ingested. So... ??? Catch you all later. Past my bedtime - now anyway - tonight :-) And yes Bill, whenever possible, I do take a siesta now - and I do just go to sleep (often) when I perceive the need. In fact, was feeling quite wired a very short time ago - but fatigued now and going to bed. (By the way, my clock is wrong, so if posts are labeled by the clocks of the sender - then my posting time is wrong Adios! Pablo
