Guest guest
Hi, i have the same issue- and hve to monitor about every hour. They rules out an insulinoma after a 3 say fast, however, i do have fasting hypoglycemia, the only near treatment so far is many small meals throughout the day - mostly fruit and yogurt. Nothing low fat! And 10 mgs of prednisone. Pred. raises the blood sugar. Beta blockers bland the effects of low blood sugar as do other things mask it- so beware of crashes!!!! 20 is super dangerous, 40 feels horrible and is near dangerous. I try to keep mine above 70 to avoid crashes. At 89 or so i feel good. any downward motion that is rpid feels ad nomatter the numbers. Cheers, Waverley
