Guest guest
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/sugarfreesweetener/brinsoid20.html I bought this item today. It was on sale at 14.97 C$. I guess that with a price this low, it's probably discontinued. But still, it sounds like a good idea, especially knowing I'm going to wired for two weeks, it could be a good tool to use to remove plaque between my teeth. Has anyone else used this appliance? Guest guest
I actually just finished using mine tonight. I like it, but I don't use it exclusively. You'll want to pick up a lot of the removeable floss tops. It's a handy appliance for those days you're tired of trying to poke Superfloss through the gaps. > http://shop.store.yahoo.com/sugarfreesweetener/brinsoid20.html > > I bought this item today. In other words, it's not a discontinued product, as I assume you can still find the parts for it? I wen't on Oral-B's website, but I couldn't locate it. Thus, I concluded it was discountinued. And at the store, this afternoon (Zeller's) there were no extra tops. Ray
Guest guest
> Hey Ray > > Thanks for the link. it looks interesting and it's really a bargain. too bad i dun see this in Singapore yet. is it really necessary to clean between your teeth? i had a upper, lower jaw surgery, 4 weeks post op. how essential do you tink this tool is going to be? > > just curious.. > lynne Hi Lynne, It's probably on an individual basis, but to me, it's quite important. I can't be more than two months without visiting my dentist to have the stuff (calculus I think the word is in English) being removed. Otherwise, it becomes painful during the cleaning and it takes forever to completely remove it. Others will have different experience, most probably. However, since it will be impossible to wash the inside of my teeth, then I've figured this would help a lot! I also got a Waterpik machine, as instructed by the surgeon. She said it's a great helper for the first weeks. Ray
Guest guest
Sounds like they are no longer being produced. I bought mine a number of years ago, and also purchased the tops a bit after that. I probably paid about CAD $30 for the unit, at a discount at the time, I think. If your teeth are tightly packed together, or you aren't careful with how you handle the unit, the tops break (the plastic fibres inside, I mean), so you'll want to have more of them on hand. > In other words, it's not a discontinued product, as I assume you can still > find the parts for it?
