Guest guest
The NCI's Cancer Information Services has publications in Spanish and English, on cancer. Call 1-800-4-CANCER or visit www. cancer.gov to order the publications. These publications are free up to orders of 20; orders of 20 or more are charged a nominal fee of $0.10 per copy to cover shipping and handling. The 1-800-4-CANCER provides cancer information in Spanish (and English) to callers from all over the United States. Callers include patients and their families, as well as physicians, nurses and other providers. The calls are answered by Information Specialists with intensive training on all cancer topics, including clinical trials, new treatment modalities, and referral to resources for uninsured/underinsured patients. Again, this service is available in both English and Spanish. Please share this number with your constituencies (1-800-4-CANCER). Thank you, Islara Souto, MPH Cancer Information Service (CIS) Partnership Program Manager Serving the Cancer Information Needs of Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands 305-243-4821 -----Original Message----- From: Norma_2002@...
