Guest guest
Hi , Welcome! However, I am sorry for your need to find this wonderful group. My husband has MSA, symptoms began in 1997. He is in a wheelchair with loads of MSA symptoms. As for a cure, well it would be great if there were a cure, then I don't think any of us would really need to be here. Unfortunately, there is no cure but all the wonderful people in this group will be more than willing to share thier experiences in treating the symptoms. We all pray for a cure one day. So ask questions and read the posts of others. Fondly, Jan (Arizona) > Hi group,my name is Eddy and I Live in Hilton > Head, S.c. I was dx'ed in May 2001 at Mayo, Rochestor. Guest guest
Hi, My name is Marilyn. My husband " Speedy " has SDS/MSA. He was diagnosed in 1998. He also used to be very active and prided himself in hard work. He has just celebrated his 70th birthday. His life is now of power wheel chair and hospital bed. Best wishes to you, Marilyn in TN > > Reply-To: shydrager > Date: Sat, 20 Jul 2002 23:06:56 -0000 > To: shydrager > Subject: New member Eddy > > Hi group,my name is Eddy and I Live in Hilton > Head, S.c. Guest guest
Hello Eddy.. Welcome to the group. You willfind lots of friends here. I was diagnosed in 2001. Used to be a consultant. Flew Hot Air Balloons, made fishing rods, drive, and smile. I also don't do any of that anymore. EXECPT, I have found another couple that have Parkinson's but not MSA, that are in the Yound Onset group (I'm 51) that we are spending aaat least one evening a month with discussing EVERYTHING. But this group here is the best. You'll see, Sorrry I know of no cure, and bewaare of those who do! Dr. Ray -- New member Eddy> > Hi group,my name is Eddy and I Live in Hilton> Head, S.c. Guest guest
Welcome to this wonderful group, , you will not regret it. My husband was diagnosed with MSA in 1997 by the ville Mayo Clinic. He has his limitations but manages fairly well. I joined the group about 6 weeks ago and a whole new world opened for me. There is such a kindred feeling among each other and you will find you are not alone in the battle with this miserable mystifying disease.
