Guest guest
Pat, My father had just a couple of OH episodes in the last couple of months of his life, but they were always related to an infection. Other than that, he didn't have the OH problems many other people here have. He made the decision to move to a wheelchair for several reasons. He was falling a lot, even when walking with assistance. It took forever for him to get anywhere walking because of the freezing and muscle rigidity. He was also frustrated by the lack of independence he had. He ended up getting an electric w/c so he could regain some of the independence he had walking. He always loved to wander around outside and getting the w/c enabled him to do that again. Please let me know if you have any other questions. There is another woman on here (Debbie W) whose mom had very similar symptoms to my father and your husband. I know it helps to talk to someone who is going through the same thing. in OK __________________________________________________

A special neck brace for her because she is haveing problems with holding it up.. " too Heavy " and they also have padding as they use in the space ships so it is more suitable for longer stays.
