Guest guest
<> What an excellent idea ! I am always so impressed when people creatively take this kind of approach. Particularly in light of our recent conversations about the increase of obesity, this is definitely an idea whose time has come. Guest guest
That is just WONDERFUL...... Hear is a little story for you all. Acouple of years ago, i was taking a crib mattress out of the crib and my back went out. I was about 3 18 lbs at that time. I had back spazems so bad that i couldn't stand all i could do was lay on the bed. And the bedroom was so small it was so hard to get the equipment into the room it just could't be done. So the E.M.T.'s and my brother-in-law and husband had to get a sheet of some kind and help place me on that. We have a small trailer so we had to go down a small hall way and it took 5 people to lift me out to the living room. I was soooo embarrassed. My sister-in-law was there to. She maybe weighs 130-140 lbs. All i could do was close my eyes and cry. From the pain and humulation. I still cringe when i go into that room. Thank goodness for new techonology. Guest guest
I just had my arms done on Jan 20th. I've never heard of lypo massages. What is this? This may have something to do with losing your lymph nodes. I know you can get lymphedema in your arms when they remove the lymph nodes, and there is a massage for that. Guest guest
hi pam c. what did they advise you to keep your blood sugar level? did you have an endoscopy to check for a stricture? hope you feel better soon & wtg on the 40 lbs. lori h. > Hey All, > I just wanted to update you all on how I have been doing. I have had good days and bad days. I let my sugar level go down. I passed out and bruised my ribs and broke my finger and a few other bumps. I have had alot of dumping and am afraid to eat anything now. I have even had days water and chicken broth come up. I went to the doctor and they checked my blood and did x-rays and found nothing to cause this except my sugar level way to low. I have upper back pain I can't seem to get rid of. No matter how much I have went through I can still say I am down 40lbs.(never to see again) Please all you pre-ops don't let this scare you I am one of a few that this happens to. I just need to heal more. I had surgery 9/8/03 You all take care > Pam C > New Orleans > 9/8/

Guest guest
Hi All Just returned from visit to ortho. He wants to take my braces off in four weeks! I'll be 11 weeks post upper and lower, palatal split. Its great news but I am so nervous. Its almost like they are a bit of a security blanket, holding everything together. I still have loads of niggles from the surgery - some congestion, difficulty chewing (only been doing that for a few days), some swelling still by back molars and along jaw line, numb chin and lip, limited opening and stiffness. However, bar all that, obviously my teeth seem to all be in the right position. Checked out my before and after photos - I'd almost forgotten what I looked like. Best wishes Sue (UK)
