Guest guest Posted December 26, 2002 Report Share Posted December 26, 2002 I am getting ready to have a thigh plasty with the incision down to the knee and then also around the top of the leg on both sides. My question is where do other people have the vertical (down the leg) scar? My PS said that he wanted to put it more posterior or just under the leg rather than were your pants seam would be. Has anyone else had the scare there and do you like it? Does anyone have pics of mature scars - what will they look like in 6-12 months or so? He has done other work on me and I have been pleased - TT, BL and arms and the arms were done the same way - slightly posterior - you can see them sometimes from the back, not from the front at all. I think that my scar has widened because of exercise and it still pulls when I reach my arms up after 6 months, also there are some exercises that I can not do since putting pressure on the scar is uncomfortable - thing like arm curls with a curl bench I can not do. I do not want that to happen with my legs if possible and that is why I am asking where others have their leg scar.
