Guest guest
I was diagnosed by an ENT over a year ago. He told me to see my rheumatologist. I waited a year and saw my rheumatologist. In the meantime I had read about the disease. If I had it it was a mild case. I read that doing a biopsy could turn a mild disease response into a full-blown response. When I saw my rheumatologist he wanted to do a biopsy which I refused. I have not gotten my medical records from him to see what his real feelings about RP and me are. My question to you guys is...Does it sound like I have RP? My symptoms began 3 years ago. When I changed Primary Care Physicians he sent me to an ENT. My symptoms new to the last 3 years include: 1) syncope 2) SED Rate 27 (always been normal any other year) 3) benign postural vertigo. It is better right now. 4) increased tiredness 5) moderate thickening of left ventrical(heart) 6) exterior ear pain for 2 years..at first just difficult for sleeping..as time went by my ears would hurt for longer periods after waking until it was 24 hours a day. No redness or swelling that I know of. Ear pain gone for 2 to 4 months now. 7) odd tingly feeling at end portion of nose. I would never call it pain, just a type of tingle. Really strange when I touch it. That too is better right now. That is all I can think of at this time. I already have autoimmune diseases. Does anyone out there have a mild case of RP and can identify with me? Is there anything else that can cause this ear pain? Please answer me at my e-mail address...amyinezjohnson@... for I do not come to this place very often. Thank you, Amy
